ok been talking northy and were thinking about having a joint meet in december, i believe northy is happy to sort a run for all you N/W lot to meet up with us at 'the old post office pub' off j38 M1 (iirc),
no date is set yet as i want to see whos actually intrested!???
plan is to meet up there and have a bite to eat/chat etc etc before the new year starts!
im not planning to do a run myself due to i have no idea which car i will be in! might be the 1.2 lol but if someone from this end wants to sort soemthing aswell then im more then happy with that!
so if your intrested could you post below and what dates, proberly best on a weekend, but of course gotta work around ppl away/busy etc so we can get a idea of best date to do it!

ok just had a look at dates, how about either the 2nd/3rd (sat/sun) or 9th/10th (sat/sun) the first 2 weekends in december, so not to close to xmas for everyone??

yeah sundays are best for me ideally gaz, work most saturdays but i can switch about them if need!

tbh we have a few options that ive done before on the runs. Just time....3 hours to get there if we dont have to stop should give us chance to get some good roads in before lunch - then the peaks afterwards....

So I'll probably be doing the scenic run with you at the back of the pack, so yeah, if we end up getting left for dead dont worry, just stay behind me and we'll just meet the rest of these miscreants back at the pub... which reminds me actually, who has the post code for this place? lol

lol, think i'll have it anyway if you can mate, I seriously dont think I'd be able to keep up, even if I was on my own as any bumps or uneven road means I have to go pretty damn slow... for comparative purposes I couldn't keep up with ANYONE on the peaks run we did on the bumpy bits, the only smooth section I did me and Gaz ended up about 10 minutes ahead of everyone else and pulled in and had a brief chat lol

yeah thanks again for everyone that turned up, I think it's fair to say everyone had a good time... well, maybe apart from the chap that got lost and made no effort to keep up... I mean if I could just about keep everyone in sight then a car that has non solid suspension should piss it! lol

exactly, people know what goes on now at these events, it's not like we were going that fast either, if I was in the Williams I'd have covered ground at a much quicker pace!
you did really well, I was holding you up if anything, I just couldn't let rip on those roads as the torque steer was just unbelievable!

it was more down to the fact I literally had to creep over it and still got some scraping from the exhaust, but I stopped and tried to set off at under 2k and it just did the slowest wheel spin you have ever seen in your life! lol... flapped for a moment, but it rolled back and the momentum took us up it in the end... thought I'd let Gaz past in his Cup though, I was holding him up most of the day to be fair lol.
My exhaust scraped on the speed humps in the bloody car park :cry: the river didn't bother it at all though :wink:
dont even wanna count how many times i hit the zorst Marie lol
