This is the vid of me having a comparison against my mates Impreza Turbo 2000 running basic breathing mods and a bleed valve. It's only running around 240+bhp...

It would be good if this vid could be kept on here, it's not really finished, it was only a quick lazy edit... I'll do another one shortly, as I have some Scooby Vs R34 Nur action and we're going to do few more :D

Northy - maybe, doesn't really interest me though. it's not geared well for a 1/4 mile either, it's far too long

when we went out in his scoob that same day we came accross a Skyline R34 Nur and he took it to 7k without realising and changed okay, it's deffo him, he comes back on the gas too quickly and it just jumps a bit.

so what - it panned that sport 2000 so thats running late 13's - 14 is it not ???

no idea, would imagine mid 13's with a hard launch on a mild tuned 4x4 impreza... it matters more to me as for how quick it goes once moving. I know it's rapid already, why would I need to 1/4 mile it? You can see how quick it is at the next meet laddo ;)

I'll give you a comparison Northy, you might wanna be in the Evo though mate ;)

Jay, tbh I think you are right, the Mk1 will undoubtedly be quicker, it's roughly the same power and torque, but weighs a good 100+kg's less... I'd think top end would be in my favour though due to gearing.

Winston - did toy with the idea, it's rusty arches, dents and general poor state of the Mk1 shells that puts me off to be honest mate, if I could get a brand new shell that would be the only option, but I'm not really willing to pay through the nose for one.

pmsl @ Scott! It's half the age and tbh it feels nice and solid to drive, I'm really starting to love it... although its more the engine I've taken to! and Mk2's are deffo ghey, that there is no denying... mines not though, it's 'ard as ****! ;) lol

Martin - he knows it's quicker to be fair, he'd been out in it and thought this is one fast beast, but he didn't realise how fast until we did a mini 2 car peaks run... I think he saw the Clio as a different car then as he couldn't keep up on the straights and the corners and braking I was murdering him on. The jumping stuff he's on about has since been found out to be him coming back on the power too quickly, his last Scooby had a quick shift which does make a fair difference on them... much better than the B&M clio efforts... in fact it puts in to perspective how bad they really are imo lol
