View Full Version : Pulled my back
Can barely move, not good when your a self employed bricklayer, never had a bad back before so its killing, never realised just how much you use your back, i know that sounds silly but anyone whose hurt theres before will know what i mean.

In my worst bike accident i torn almost every muscle from my neck to my lower back, I know have trouble sleeping all the time.
I feel for ya mate. Bad back is the worst.
go see an acupuncturist mate, but make sure its one thats also a qualified physio,
i have had quite a bad football injuries, especially last year. worst of them being bad whiplash on my shoulder and a treatment in the acupuncturist sorted me right out, trust me i didnt believe in it until i went myself
He needs a swedish back massage.........

I'll give it a couple of days and see. Losing £150 a day is not ideal.

i slipped a disc in my back a few years ago when i was about 20ish. did it playing indoor footy and being driven to the hospital was so bad it was untrue.
best advise i got was take pain killers and put the mattress on the floor, so there's no give in the mattress when i was sleeping. to be honest it helped a fair bit, i got my dad to take my mattress and everything off my bed and put it on the floor in the front room and i slept down there for the next 4 or 5 days.
methyl salicitate is the bugger........rub it in.its like a natural deep heat type o thing.....does the trick.
can be bought at the chemist.
Unlucky mate, me dad was in the same boat Last year hes a self employed bricky!! and did his knee like still couldnt walk reyt
awww bless.... hope u get it sorted soon :D

dont be such a wimp
much better to pull ya front rather than ya back
So what? I'm not gonna bloody rub it for ya.
Just kidding! makes realise how many times you flex your back muscles every day. If you've pulled a muscle do some slow stretches to recover quicker.
I'm pretty much ok now. Been to work today and my backs a little bit sore. Least i'll be able to get smashed for my birthday 8)
