Hello there ive just won a williams engine from e bay and looking at picking it's up at the weekend, it currently on 77k. Rather than spending silly money on engine mods id thought of just getting the willy lump.

Hello there i spoke to the seller yesterday, he seemed to know his s**t about the engine. He origianaly got the engine from a friend who wrote his williams(rear ender) so he decided to swap the engines over as he had a valver, he seemed quit genuine and poined out all the bits to belive its a williams engine. As hes slowly coming off the clio scene he is going to throw in loads of spairs just incase any of the pack up. this engine has come out of a m reg 1995 williams with 77k on the clock.
The only thing i was concerned with is that my current valver has an airbag and ABS but im sure the williams does'nt come with eith of them.
as i want to keep the following features from the valver is there anyway of getting over it or shall i just get my valver ecu remapped?
ABS Shall i remove it ? ? ? ?
Air bag ? ? ?

Totally unrelated to the engine/ECU.
You can keep both no problem.

ahh nice one matt, so will i be best to use my original loom that came with the valver engine?
I just need someone to fit it as im not 100% confident doing it myself.
the abs wont wont but no fear just undo it from the battery unless ya get a williams 3 ecu
he lives in welling, kent or se london

Yeah, safest bet is to use your original loom.

the abs wont work but no fear just undo it from the battery unless ya get a williams 3 ecu
Yes it will.
The ABS has nothing to do with the engine or ECU.
