Renault Clio 1.8 16v. Flared arches front and rear as standard, bonnet bulge as standard. Much sought after in this colour  . Very popular hot hatch from the nineties, 137bhp from the factory, 0-60 in around 7.5 seconds.

1994 M Reg. Naples red metallic paint.
88,600 miles, cambelt changed last year at 81,500 miles.
Service book stamped up until 60k, every M.O.T. from new.
Current M.O.T. until september this year, taxed until 31st august '06..
15" Clio Williams original speedline alloys sprayed gunmetal grey with all four centre caps, All tyres have good tread.
Magnex Stainless Steel Exhaust, Standard airbox and filter (better than k&n induction kits sucking in all the hot air!).
Sparco strut brace.
Polished rocker cover and inlet manifold. Carbon fibre spark plug cover and inlet cover.
Smoked side repeaters, lockwood sill protectors with 16v lettering on them.
Lowered approximately 40mm all round, doesn't rub on the rear, only slightly rubs on full lock on the front.
Electric windows, and mirrors, electric sunroof with two retractable sun blinds, sunroof does NOT leak either (a common fault on mk1 clios)
Front Renault diamond badge, and rear 'Renault' and 'Clio' badges have all been sprayed black to match the dark wheels and trim on the car.

Very good condition interior with hardly a mark on it. Front seats are very comfortable and give great support. Sony X-plode cd player, with jbl door speekers, and jbl 6x9's on the rear parcel shelf.
Polished phase 1 steering wheel.

Engine runs sweet as a nut, ticks over smoothly just as it should, gearchange is also nice and smooth. Doesn't overheat, auto fan kicks in when it should do. Has been very reliable in my 12 months of ownership and has never let me down, starts first time every morning aswell.

Remote central locking with Toad alarm/immobiliser, arms itself if you fail to lock the car within around 2 minutes, immobiliser kicks in if you don't start the car in under a minute.

Not so great bits:
Exterior is in very good condition for its age, however there are a few of the usual supermarket carpark dings. Rear passenger side arch has a bit of rust on the arch and the sill, also a bit of rust in the usual place inside the tailgate around the drainage holes. Stonechips on bumper and bonnet as usual, and a mark here and there, it's not a brand new car ;-)
There is an knock within the drivers side arch, i suspect it may be a bottom suspension ball joint which are only £12 from BB performance.
Rear wiper works but the washer jet doesn't, i suspect the pipe is blocked/disconnected somewhere along the way.
Front fog lights dont work, they may just be disconnected.

£2k no offers.

Time for a Pug 106 gti  8)

Indeed, might regret it but i've had it too long, usually only keep cars 6 months, and there's so many cars out there that i need to own at least once
No worries on the plug ;)
