View Full Version : Looking to buy a Clio Williams Dimma
Hi all
I'm new here
I'm in the process of selling my racing blue 182 and I'm looking to get a Clio Williams Dimma.
I know these are hard to come by and have been told that only 6 or so exist.
Does anyone know of any for sale?
Thanks
Gem
they dont make them do they?
if u do find one, then its only cuz the owner has put the kit on themselves
they had a limited run of the dimma - but i think it was a F7P 1.8 engine, but the only 'Renault made' williams were the standard shape F7R 2.0 engine
Oh right I didnt know that, its just I found one on pistonheads and I was wondering if there were any more out there.
I want a williams 3 but I just wanted that little extra and I love the look of the maxi and dimma clios :)
you got a link to it??
Im not a renault expert so dont give up the hunt just yet...but ive never heard of a williams dimma, only the clio dimma 1.8
yeah its http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/79132.htm
Doesnt say mileage and I was hoping for a low mileage one too :)
no idea from them pics or the description, it could be either! you need to email the guy n get pics of engine and interior and then cud be in better position to tell you! 8)
nah thats a home made special, he has brought the kit off the shelf and has had it professionaly fitted

still...looks v nice tho, but its not 'orginal' and you wont find a williams dimma unless its been 'home made'
there has been a few orginal dimmas pop up on ebay 1.8's and the odd replica...but only way to buy one of them is to either find an orginal dimma that been converted to a 2.0
or
that one :D
orginal dimma's had plaques on the door sill
ask him if he has a pic of that 8)
Thanks for that I've emailed him, just waiting to see what sort of mileage it has too. Considering he hasnt stated it Im guessing its high.
I'll let u know what he says about the plaques too :)
as long as a clio engine is well maintained they can live for ages! And he has stated he looks after his cars, he is a renault enthusiast by the looks of things, so i wouldnt let the milage put u off
even if its 143k, i wouldnt worry, wait till u drive it and then see what the oil pressure is etc
Andyvalvers naples 16v is on over 150 and can still wipe the floor with most cars

Also one of the lads in sheff has a 1.4 dimma knocking about i think he paid like 1800 quid for it or somthingm so thats a bit of a price to go by :)

seen this earlier on pH as I carried out my usual car search, looks lovely. all williams should have looked like that from the start!
They did make a williams dimma ....not many tho
yes - they did make a williams dimma. Think it was numbered in the high 300's
Most of them were valver hybrids though.
