We decided to have a comparison down the private road :wink:

His is the 1.8 turbo, kicks out 170bhp :o

2nd gear....nothing in it

3rd gear...nothing in it

4th gear... started to pull him in :P

5th gear... he moved over and i pulled past very slowly with 130 showing on the clocks.

Stopped for a chat too, we pulled up and after a few mins his car started to poor smoke from under the bonnet, had a look and there was oil sprayed eerywhere lol. Started it up and it was smoking like a bitch when he revved it. It was fine when we had our little blast :? He text me earlier too and siad it seems fine now. Think he's ****ed the turbo tbh.

its the s13.. s14s are 2litre and knock 150bhp iirc
s13s arent as powerful

his problem would be the oil feed/return to or from the turbo its prob just come off

S14 200SX's are 2.0 TURBOS and a decent one with few mods can be very quick... Drifters favour them for their perfect shape and rwd action. :)

Old shape 200 turbos are 180bhp, the newer ones are 200bhp. My mate tristram has one its deceiveably quick, don't realise how fast you're going till you look at the speedo.

S13 Are 170std 1.8T t25
s14 are 200std 2.0T t28

With a few easy mods they will kill a williams (on the straight or smooth roads)

but handle like boats round the twisties.

My S14 had about 2k spent on the engine 280at the hubs and was about as qiuck as my current clio :roll:

Good stuff. sounds like it was a bit f*cked though..lol

oil everywhere :lol: most of them have done 100k+ and they suffer from b/e bearings and rings going.

My mate has a 75k s13 with a few mods

Fmic (volvo one)
uprated pump
stage2chip
3" turbo back exhaust
uprated boost

must be 230ish...

I kept up with my mates one up to about 100-110 and then he started to pull away. His is the 2.0l turbo.

I kept up with an S14 in my old (modded) 205 GTi as well. As Flan says, though, they seem to respond pretty well to modding....but then they are turbo'd!
