Hi
I have been thinking about selling my car for months now and I have put it up forsale before (5 mins later I changed my mind as I really liked it - ok I still do like it)
The reason for selling is because I want to get something Jap and maybe a bit faster.
Anyway its a:
Clio 1.8 16v in etruscan red
6 months tax
Mot til end of july 06 (last one passed with flying colours)
Car is on 97k
Engine + gearbox 76k - almost full service history (no smoking or knocking etc) Was put in the car back in Jan 2006 and gearbox was put on later in feb (old gearbox from old engine somehow lost reverse after transplant )
Lots of reciepts (2 folders) 1 for the car and one for the engine.
Some of the reciepts are shown here:
Gearbox + full clutch kit (feb 06) = 567.43 (1k ago)
Thermostat = 23.00 (1k ago)
Fan switch = 48.00 (1300 k ago)
Clutch cable + rear brake pads = 158.39 (3 k ago)
Front brake pads (done myself) = 14.49 (pads) (150 miles)
New ball joint + new clutch pedal = 95.97 (4 k ago)
New rad
New fuel filter (2k ago)
New gearbox oil (1k ago)
New brake fluid (1.5k ago)
New power steering fluid (1.5k ago)
New cambelt idler + tensioner (1.5 k ago)
New Aux belt (1.5k ago)
Pressure test + head gasket test (1.5k ago)
Various fuel leaks (5 pipes replaced over the year and a half)
Engine oil + filter + new sump bolt + washer (1.5k ago)
New battery - nov 05
New spark plugs (1.5 k ago)
New ht leads
New Rotor arm + dist cap
New headgasket + headskim + core plugs changed ( Feb 05 - old engine but I still have the head with the work done) = 637.14
Diagnostic check (found everything to be ok)
Water pump checked and found to be in good condition.
New lambda sensor
New coolant temp sensor
Cleaned all sensors + replaced iscv
I also have loads more reciepts (to many to say) + main new parts have been said above)
I also got a print out with the engine when bought which says (138 bhp standard without any mods) so I hope with the mods on my car that it will be pushing more.
Mods:
De - cat + cat included
Full system magnex exhaust
Lowered front and back
16" gold alloys - speedline comp 2's (believed to be made from magnisum) the tyres are still really gd
K & n air filter in original box (have original air filter aswell)
Phase 2 front grill (colour coded)
Phase 2 boot strip (carbon effect)
De badged boot
Cdx r3300 head unit (mp3) 160.00 new
Uprated speakers door + tweeters by mirrors + Uprated front speakers
Alloy pedals (sparco)
De locked doors (boot lock left on incase of flat batt or something)
The car also has factory fitted grey leather interior.
I also have every mot from new and quite a few old tax disks. I also have both the keys.
Paint work is pritty gd not faded etc
Bad bits:
Sunroof does not open (maybe motor - new one supplied)
Rust on the rear arches (like all clios)
Small crack on roof by the sunroof (hairline and does not leak - 1 inch long)
Small scratch on rear bumper (nothing big) will try and polish it out.
