that once happened to me in my valver, whilst running slicks in wet weather.. i hit a curb though, cracking sump and snapping wish bones :-)...
brakes were faulty though

that was an astra Mk3, remember watching the rally when it went tinto the Lake. Old Astra GTE. drivers escaped unhurt, just damaged pride

To be fair to him , it does look like he aquaplaned on the water at the inside of the turn . Quite why he was trying to brake in standing water and then still trying to brake after sliding wide is beyond me.
