Renault Clio 1.8 16v in White

Righty, it's up for sale now to make way for new car.

On 90K now, full Renault dealer service history to 73K, serviced and maintained by Chris/myself since it's purchase on 83K. MOT'd until October and will have 6 months tax on it from start of May.

In last 7K it's had a plethora of new parts fitted:

Discs and pads all round
Coolant system flush and fluid change
Dogbone engine mount
Timing belt
Coolant temperature sensor
Clutch cable and pedal
Track rod and gaitors
Front bearing

....mostly with receipts to prove. I also have a load of old MOT certificates and tax discs to verify the low mileage.

Mod-wise the car has a K&N induction kit, a Scorpion stainless exhaust system and a silenced decat fitted to the engine which should take power nicely above 140bhp. The engine and gearbox in it are sweet, and even Chris has said it's one of the quietest smoothest 16v's he's seen/heard. Car is also lowered ~60mm all round (estimated).

There's a Pioneer CD player fitted and a set of Sony Xplod 6x9 speakers in the shelf which need wiring in. A previous owner has at some point fitted some component speakers in the front and removed them when he sold it, so there is nothing in the doors I'm afraid.

As for bad points, well the main issue is the rusty rear arches. I was given an estimate of £300 by Tony at Twisted Styling (www.twistedstyling.co.uk) to put them right properly with new metal welded in place. Other than a stone chip to the bonnet and some spots of rust on the sills the outside is pretty immaculate for the age. All the rust was Waxoyl'd when I got the car and it doesn't seem to have worsened at all.

Mechanically, the car needs a new pair of handbrake cable, an engine mount, and a nearside inner driveshaft boot.

I've also got a set of 16" OZ Super T's part way through a refurb which I'll throw in FOC to the new buyer if they want. They need finishing off and new tyres though. One of the front foglights is cracked but I have a replacement set of clear lamps which I'll throw in as well.

As regarding the price I'm looking for around £700, but look out for the car on eBay soon anyway.

Any inspection, viewing, test drive welcome. If you want more pictures there's a load you can see >>HERE<< (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v680/gentlebenny/Renault%20Clio%2016v/)

Thanks for looking.
