becareful with those bolts on the gearbox. If you strip them you will have to use a helicoil to repair mate
well car has been back to be looked at , and ive been told i need a new driveshaft as its worn, and fluid getting past bearing, has this been known to happen???... just gets better and better..

not sure what you mean when you say bearing.
You have a wheel bearing in the hub, and on the drive shafts you have Constant Velocity joints and in the case of the gearbox output a tripod joint.
If they are leaking past the seal onto the actual shaft then you could get away with new rubber boots and clips.
