I think Danno and I thought about 7.5-8 as a real value as in a selling price, money in your hand, I was thinking if you put it up here, it wouldn't cost a bean, and you'd probably have interested parties only enquiring. Less money received, a lot less hassle. (This is how I sold my 911, on the forum to an enthusiast, five queries, no hassle.)

ASKING prices are totally different. If I was 'vaguely thinking' of selling my Williams I wouldn't punt it out for less than 15K, on the basis that if someone wanted it that much they were welcome to it at a nuts price, and because a high ticket is going to keep some flies off if you put it on Pistonheads or Car and Classic.

It's interesting how long it is since someone has put a for sale advert on this forum. There must be a lot of people keeping an eye on it.

When interest rates go up things will either take a bit of a dive or remain vaguely upward. You pays your money...
