Still no luck finding a new sub frame !! Any ideas anyone ? Has Renault stopped making them then ?
Engine bay all sand blasted needs a quick rub down and a lick of fresh paint
Fair play your doing a sterling job! The guy who owned this is looking down and is very happy I'd say.. Rescued and will be a very nice car when finished,
285 Is now up North and will enjoy the same treatment 360, continuing Dal's good work.
This is a fantastic and completely original car with 2 former keepers, 140k on the clock with full Renault service history, accompanied by every bill and original purchase receipts. All original booklets (inc Williams one), radio manual and believe it or not, the shipping tag and spare shipping barcodes showing it shipped from France to Southampton. It is suffering from some sortable rust issues owing to it being sat outside for 9 years after its second keeper died.
It's a credit to Dal that he resisted temptation to make more money breaking 285, and instead let me buy it complete to restore.
So begins another one....
Bloody hell Paul, youre keen adding another one to your collection.
That car has great history, well worth saving.
What amount of work does it need doing, looks like a bigger project than 360.
Best of luck with it 👍
