Williams wishbones - alternatives to Renault

I understand that you can substitute the wishbones from other models into the Williams, but I'm wondering if anyone has bought decent aftermarket Williams wishbone replacements, rather than the genuine Renault items?

I finally had the Williams in the air last night and dear Lord, I did not like what I saw. Have new subframe waiting, but really should replace the bones. I reckon they're beyond wire brush and hammerite stage.

Or will I undo my trousers and visit the parts desk again?

Shot blast & powdercoating is the way forward for that, then fit new poly bushes & your wishbones are essentially brand new.................................unless they're bent of course

£150 quid later, I bought the Renault ones and all new nuts and bolts. Grrr. Renault need a Peugeot style Motaquip division. I used to buy OEM motaquip suspension components for peanuts for my 205 gtis (but then there were thousands of GTis compared to 1500ish Williams')
