Sounds like you got the same regulation as over here. What they do, they pick you from the motorway and you got to follow to the first service station where a mobile MOT station with several mechanics is waithing. All the modifications that are NOT listed on you're MOT document are illegal. You get a nice ticket for that, have to remove them and go back to mot.
