    Help me source New wheels

Hey folks, can anyone help please ???

Basicially im looking to buy an american dayvan, my problem is I live in N-Ireland and hav`nt a clue as to american dealers etc on the mainland?

Can anyone point me in the direction of mainland based dealers or private sellers etc who might deal in these??

Or even good car classified sites ie like pistonheads / carsandclassics etc?
    Any other good sites???????????????

Ive two vehicles in mind I would like to find,
1st choice is a Chevrolet Express Explorer
2nd choice is a GMC Savanna
in or around 10 years oldish???? lol

please dont point me towards the astro van or gmc safari these are too small for my requirments

weird request for help,,, I know, but hey why not :D

My budget depends on vehicle location as i have to allow for ferry fares/fuel etc But as a rough figure ive about 5500 - 6000,
Ive found that good decent examples can be bought for my budget, but I seem to keep missing these..

    Any ideas??????????

    Hi Buddy.

If you were looking for a UK or European spec camper/motorhome I could have helped you. We dont deal in Yank stuff but occasionally do take them in as p/x but its very rare. The last company I called for an underwrite was Dudleys in Oxfordshire. I dont think they do day vans but I bet they will point you in the right direction if you give them a call.

I did speak to a Manchester based company only last week who was asking my advice on a day van......I will give him a call tommorrow for you and see if he still has the guy's details who was trying to sell it to him, all I remember is that it had a big kick as engine (think they all do)

I also know someone thats got a Toyota Granvia 3.4 V6 camper for sale but he wants a lot more than your budget, very nice van tho.

I will get back to you tomorrow.

Finally got all the details on this van. As you suspected it is the Chevvy Astro van, 4.3 V6, its a 98 with low miles (around 20k) cruise, air con.

If you want the guy's contact details let me know. Otherwise I will keep an ear to the ground and see if theres a bigger van about.
