    Help caliper nipple snapped!

    Hi all
    Bit of help needed, I went to do my brake fluid and the nipples have snapped on both calipers

    AnyOne know what calipers they are I see lucas on there but that's about, anyone know what other cars These are on to get second hand ones or how much they are new or has anyone got a good pair with working nipples
    Needed ASAP

    Do you know if the nipples are loose, I don't want to end up with the same probs as last time

    Can't you just remove the remainder of the nipples and replace them? They screw out iirc.

    Yeah, you can buy new nipples from Renault, they are expensive though, around £12 each.

    Did they snap off while you were doing them up or undoing them?

    Try an ez-out on them.

    I must be really lucky, I re-shelled my valver into a shell that had been stood rotting for 5 years and all my nipples came undone with ease :D

    second hand callipers imo although if you want to try and drill them out use a left hand drill bit, a little bit smaller than the thread, half of the time it will unscrew itself once the drill bit bites.

    Always put a bit of copper slick on the threads when you take them out it saves soo much hassle in the future!!

    I've tried drilling them out but no good threads are damaged, need other ones now, try and get second hand pair, bloody French cars!

    Thanks everyone for all your advice I bought to new ones today and they work a1. They were only £48 each in the end, not bad but an expensive fluid change, but the brakes are good now
