To what sort of spec do you mean when you say "performance" ?

If you are into the realms of a modified head and high CR pistons and a set of throttle bodies etc you would be best off going to someone who specialises in these engines (like danny @ 519 automotive mentioned above) if its just a basic rebuild and a set of mildly uprated cams though then any local engine builder should be more than capable of that so find anyone recomended that is local to you.

It needs to be a high performance re-build. i.e. with forged Pistons + Rods and Flowed Head etc.

I want someone who will do all work to high spec without any nasty surpises, oil leaks or loose bolts etc...
