    Clio Hybrid, 170bhp Williams 3 Engine (formerly donsrno1s)

    I bought donsrno1s clio hybrid earlier this year as a project for the summer. The car had been sat a few months and needed some attention, which I spent my entire summer giving it.
    I have an MR2 as well, and rather than sell that I've decided to sell this. At the moment, it doesnt have MOT or tax, but thats the next thing on my list, especially if theres interest.

    It's a J reg Mk1 Clio with Williams 3 engine conversion. The setup was rolling roaded at 171, 172 and 174 BHP on three different rolling roads. Mileage is approximately 100k.
    I'll try post a full list once I get a chance of everything that's been done.

    The work I've had over summer to get it to MOT standard:
    Replaced rear calipers, and new pads on rear
    New front disks and pads
    Powerflow exhaust with decat.
    Replaced both driveshafts
    Sills need a bit of welding still before it gets through MOT.

    Mods off the top of my head are:
    170bhp Williams 3 Engine with remap
    HKS induction filter
    Lowered with Leda Shocks and some aftermarket springs (unknown make)
    Green Fox Evo 15" Wheels
    Powerflow Exhaust with Decat
    Aftermarket wheel
    Renault 5 Interior

    The bad bits I can think of are only bodywork related. The car could do with a proper respray, the last time it was sprayed it was done poorly and theres rust starting to show.
    I do get great deals on the local sprayshop, and could get a respray included in the final price.

    The car has always been part of clio16valver, cliosport or williamsclio forums and has been well looked after. This car is ridiculously fast.
    I had started stripping it out, but I haven't done anything drastic and still have all the original interior panels.

    I'll be aiming to sell the car with full MOT and 6 months tax within the next month as long as I get near the asking price of £1600.

    I get the car back from the garage on monday with a full MOT! advisory on it apparently will be "car is quite low", but we already know that.

    Sills have since been welded up too, and some new brake hoses put in.
    I'm going to have a chat with a local garage I've had spray work done at, and I may look into having the bad parts of the bodywork seen to. Good news is the car is now legal on the road. I will also be getting it taxed once I get it back.

    Struck a deal with the local bodyshop.

    I'll be able to have all the bodywork issues and rust seen to if I get a bit more than the asking price. say 1850? It would be good to have this stay in the owners clubs.

    Ive barely driven this since fixing it up, but it never fails to put a smile on my face.

    What work has been done to the engine? You know?

    From what the last owner (donsrno1) said, its been remapped. I think this, with the decat exhaust and the induction kit brings it to the 170bhp mark.

    Its so frustrating, I want to keep this so much. I was so close to selling my MR2 and keeping this instead.

    I forgot to mention, its got a 172 gearbox too!

    When I got the engine I was told it had been re-mapped, with the limiter raised to 7200RPM. Other than that I've no idea about any internal engine work etc as the engine came out of a williams in a scrppies, but the 170ish BHP output has been shown on a number of rolling roads. When I had it on the rollers it was a Cliosport day and on average this was the same as or 1 - 2 BHP less than 172's running on the same rollers.
