    high reving F7R

    what does one need to change in order to make a F7R rev more higher then the normal rev limit? and is it advisable ?

    get a gunnerchip of someone on here, raises limit from 6500 to 7100 i think, makes a hell of a difference (mine does an extra 10 - 15mph in 4th gear according to the clocks) been running mine for a while without any probs, same with quite a few others on here!

    im running a turbo was thinking about reving 8K is this advisable? and what should i change to PREVENT blowing the engine up?

    ex. retainers, valvesprings, caMS?

    if your wanting to run to 8k your into a serious re-build including cams, head work etc etc.

    why would u want to rev to 8k wen u can make 280 bhp reving to 7k with the right components...

    Can you give me the spec of your Hybrid please. I seem to remember its a quick un.

    Im in the middle of putting ideas together for mods on my F7R rebuild. Not too sure what im doing yet with it.

    I guess that there is no reason to rev 8k on a turbo engine depending on cams and other things if the power curves is pointing downwards at 6500 why rev more ?

    This engine need high revs its a 2,3 volvo 850,Hp atw very aggressive cams for this power and 3,2 bar boost
