My battery light flashes when I drive slowly around town so I guess I need to replace my alternator?
There's no 'Williams alternator' on eBay. Are the valver ones the same, or even a mk 1 alternator?

I see some alternator belts on eBay. I guess I should try getting one of these fitted first before replacing the whole alternator?

Check all your connections first.

as mat says, check the connections are all good & clean 1st, it's when the battery light is permenantly on you want to be bothered if that happens & you need a new alternator get this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...T#ht_758wt_732 it's cheap because I reckonthe guy cocked up the listing

Williams ones are unique, so don't try a valver or other Mk1 unit.
