    can i just clear something up?

    quaife want to see the design of the rack before they can confirm what ratio can be achieved? is that right?

    yeah it also says due to the design of most racks its not possible to make.

    think they should see a rack before we get our hopes up

    Speed is correct, I will be getting a manual rack next week and hopefully sending it off to Quaife immediately to see if the quick rack will be doable....

    i'll have one if its do-able and the ratio is 2.5 turns or less lock to lock. dont fancy a 2.9 as tehe williams is 2.75iirc

    Without wishing to take this thread off topic, I am skiiiint and can't afford a custom rack for the foreseeable future :( and have a small leak on the current one.

    Is the pikey conversions simply a case of removing all the connecting pipes and the pump and the reservoir, filling the rack with fluid then welding the holes closed??

    well, as MOT rules go it should FAIL an MOT using a PAS rack which is unoperational

    Bit of an update, received my non-pas bits down today (rack, column & alt brackets).

    Will be sending the rack out to Quaife on Monday/Tuesday - so should be getting some more info once they've done their testing etc.

    Not sure how long this will take but i'll ask my contact and update on here.
