http://www.williamsclio.co.uk/forum/...=316472#316472 ;) So that we wont get too off topic.

This black one from Portugal is beautifull, reminds me alot of my black one, only that this one looks even better (well, mine had 210.000km under it`s belt when I rolled it).

I'm bringing this topic back from dead, lol. :D

A lot has happened in the past year, starting with a headgasket failure in September. Turns out that the chip that was installed was a very nasty one, and this was the result:

There were signs of massive overfueling, but they weren't the same on the 4 cylinders, so I had the injectors tested and they were rubish...had to recondition them.

While the head was out, some porting and polishing was done:

Also got some Pipercams BP270H, and a supersprint exhaust manifold. All ordered from k-tec and quickly posted to Portugal. A very big thumbs up to them!

Nearly done, only the cambelt missing:

Also had a full exhaust system made at a local exhaust specialist (no pics unfortunately), and had it remaped on a dyno.

The end result was 156hp @ 7200rpm, which is very nice for a 1.8 I think.

    All done! :D

And against a mates 200hp Prelude 2.2 vti:

Since then I've been taking it to some track-days, and it's behaved beautifully, although I suspect that one of the driveshafts is about to die on me soon...

Latest mods were some Powerflex dogbone mount bushes and an OMP suede steering wheel (sorry about the very crappy phone pics)

And it's how it is at the moment. I've some surgery lately, so I haven't been able to drive for the past month...I miss it a lot. :(
Hopefully I should be back in the drivers seat in no time!

    Cheers!

Are these as tough as the Renault Sport ones or are they slightly more flexible (causing less vibration)?

Amazes me the arches on these things in a hot climate. Shitty GB weather, .... Global warming FTW.

    Thanks for the comments! :D

Its true, our relatively dry weather and the fact that it never snows in the area I live in have really helped keep the car in this condition.

I don´t know how tough is this dogbone mount compared to the renault sport ones, but i barely noticed any increase in vibration, and I have cams...I'm very pleased with it. :D

:D :D :D Not everything is good though...Because cars are better kept and last longer, they also cost alot more. A decent valver will cost you here about 3000£ and a mint one is about 5000£...

Our crazy tax laws don't help either, back in 1993 a valver cost 20000£ so they're really rare around here.
