Carefully put a screwdriver between the rubber and the glass from the outside of the car. Then just move along the seal moving the rubber off the glass all the way round. Sometimes it is easier to use two screwdrivers to get it started - one to hold the bit you have already done and one to work on moving the rubber away next to it. Installation is the reverse - plonk the glass into the seal and then just use a screwdriver to work it up and over the glass to hold it in place.
So its that piss easy then? :D
Should have done it ages ago - Haynes confused me with the string malarky - couldn'y figure out why it was stating you had to run it around the edge!
why are you taking the rear screen out anyway ??
because it is scratched from the previous owner not replacing the wiper often enough and because I got a brand new one for a tenner.
Yes, 'parachute cord' is apparently the best stuff to use but I found it fine with a screwdriver. Takes a while but does the job.
I hope no Car thieves are reading this......

here was me hoping an idiot had written a guide which involved a brick, a dustpan and a pair of running trainers for when the police came
