Tungsten Hybrid - Nice and clean

A few of you may know me from C16v and know I have recently put a Megane F7R with valver head into my valver. I gave it a good clean this evening and here are a few pics.

Back to ph1 grilleness! Ph1 ftw!

And one of the bay as it stands right now. Needs some covers and general tidying and stuff

And this is the specs of the engine that I stripped down and the new parts fitted for anyone interested.

Renault Megane 2.0 F7R bottom end (55k miles)
    Clio 1.8 16v head
    Kent cams
    Piper vernier pulleys
    Renault 5 GTT uprated clutch
    Clio 16v flywheel
    JB3 valver gearbox
    Standard 16v exhaust manifold
    Gunnerchip in ph1 ecu
    Hillpower Induction kit
    Magnex exhaust system and decat

    New parts during overhaul:
Cambelt kit w/ tensioner and idler
    Bottom end gasket set
    Headgasket set
    Valeo uprated clutch kit
    Auxilliary belt
    Waterpump
    Thermostat
    Spark plugs
    Oil filter and oil

    Thanks for your time

No you don't mate lol. I'm getting them done soon hopefully. If you look carefully you can see the rust and bubbling. Doesn't look too bad in the pics though.

Have you lowered it a bit?

And I cant see any rust on the arches, you should see mine :(

Yes it is lowered. Was originally about 100mm at the back apparently, but was too low for my liking. So brough it up about an inch, inch and a half. Front is on Gaz coilies.
