    Over Heating ?

went to the petrol station earlier, round trip of about 30mins.... this was 2 hrs ago.....iv'e just come to top up my coolent and noticed the engine was still BOILING HOT!....

is this normal....or should it have cooled down abit by now?

i checked the gauges and the temp gauge moved slightly just of the bottom mark and the oil temp gauge didnt move at all

Yea i know what you mean,

I have been watching my temp gauge for a while as i had to re-wire the fan, so i am very cautious of it not working, and i have noticed that, 1.8 16v engines rung VERY hot and keep their heat for a good while after the engine is off as well,

But what can you expect, there beasts of an engine in a HOT HATCH :D,

    There so much FUN
