Surely a good dyno should be more accurate than a good RR

depends on which figures your after.the flywheel figures, or real on the road road at the wheel figures.....personally at the fly figures are pretty pointless unless ur tryin out difrent boxes to reduce transmission loss

Im really thinking about test results for components. A dyno will give more accurate results as to weather a filter for example allows better gains than an IK. Component testing is were its at. You can control everything to the nth degree to amass alot of useful data. If you see what i mean.

YEAH MATE I AGREE IN SOME RESPECTS.....

oooooooooooops il stop shoutin now lol

but if u want on the road improvements...u gotta leave the dyno alone........some mods could show massive improvements on the dyno, throw a box on and u mite completely destroy the cars characteristics..i.e in gear performance etc

best of both worlds is a rollers that u bolt to the hubs of the vehicle, apparently as accurate as a dyno with the added bonus of havin trans losses incorperated too

Well there's a surpirse. AMD rollers giving owners better results than they expected.

No offence mate, but I'd take that with a pinch of salt. I've heard a lot about those rollers.

some people were actualy down on power from other rr especialy the cliov6 only 225bhp with mods ?most of the other willys were between 155-160 bhp with slight mods mines got a good low milage engine that pulled clean all the way to the limiter and did not peak

Thats a bit of shame, guess you can only really tell through driving the car and judging throtle response/low and mid range pull etc etc. But even then you could end up convincing yourself that its faster or slower as the case may be.

TBH if your a good driver you shouldnt need a RR to tell you if your car is faster or not as enid says
