    fao matt b, winston, j3ned, all clio specialists

    I have decided to do my own head gasket fix.
    I have all the tools now i just need to know how to do it

    can anyone help me out by giving me some guide points on doing it?

    simple man, i did it with no help! just logically remove everything in the way step by step, keep note of what u took from where and u'll be fine. believe me it aint that hard n great learning how it all goes together!

    Id imagin its easy like coops said. Think you need to buy new headbolts when you do it though as they stretch dont they You need to know the correct sequence to tighten them up as well i think. Not 100% sure like

    ai new head bolts, and the correct settings for torquing em up are supplied with the bolts. best of doing cam belt n tensioners n all.

    i did dog bone, water pump, aux belt, plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm, p/steering pump, coolant, oil and filter n all at same time!

    my pa was the same mate when mine blew up, so **** em is what i said n got on with it myself!he was gutted i managed it on my own, cud tell he wanted me to **** up!altho he laffed his ass off tho when i first started it after 2 months n it pissed petrol out the fuel rail like a fountain!

    exactly dood, im a fast learner, i have all u lads behind me and some real close if i need assistance
