    new car opinion

    hi all been a while, some of you prob seen my latest post in the wanted section. basically ive decided that i want a new car so have applied and been accepted for a loan. and want a car but has to be a turbo running 250bhp+

    been looking and there aint much about? anyone know anyone selling a 16v turbo??? or take a look at these:

    wouldnt pay more than £1800 tho

    i know the astra aint a clio but should be a monster, jus not sure if the 300bhp is proven, looks mint tho.

    someone please tell me theyve got a high boost clio to sell me????

    by the way my littl bro has bought my clio, keepin it the family.

    and the missus jus got a newer clio :D

    oh and the first clio would be reverted to valver look-e-like and with the change poss internals?

    I wouldn't do the astra tbh - quick in a straight line but if the steering is anything like the ex's lower model then it will have about as much feel as a man with no hands.

    Really, really pants - just kind of have to steer it where you want to go and hope it grips as there's ****all coming back through the steering in my experience! lol

    Wasn't there some bloke on CS selling his red turbo'd valver?

    i'd got for the converted valver out of them lot, most pricey probs but astra is no go, handles like a train n the other gt clio looks fahookin gaheeeey!!

    is swinging that way, but reserve is so high, and reliability of a heavily tuned gt turbo lump is unknown to me? if it tuned aswell as it says and looks how reliable will it be??????????

    renault 5 gtt engines can be reliable. most the unreliable stories are from people who just get a bleed valve and crank the boost up without the supporting modifications and without fueling setup correctly. good thing is that when they do go wrong is cheap and easy to fix yourself
