ok iv had my williams bout 8 months now and only mods are s/s exaust, pipercross kit, iv got gunnerchip but not fitted yet. and way just had all new brakes and had it lowered, so took her out for a bit of fun yesterday, and for the first time i really opened it up :o . and iv been told the rev counter is set at 6100 yet i was reving upto 7500 easily in every gear being abnormally quick???? what is gonna happen when my chip is fitted? :D

probly nothing as it sounds like its already chipped.



williams should redline at 6500 anyway..not 6100

if urs is revving to 7500 its either already chipped...or a valver lol.

its def not a valver lol all reciepts and things from renault are all registered under williams 2, checked before i bought it!!!!!! and i have no info in the history saying it been chipped.

Eight months and not been past 6100rpm! I thought I was gentle.

maybe but when i have tacken it out on the motor way it did readline at around six but gears 1-4 wer reving higher than normal
