    coilovers

has any 1 got them?what do they think.my step bro has just spent 600 quid on them for his vr6 and i know they handle like crap but he said its v good now .so if i start with a great handling car how good will it be?
i read ktecs site and its says there kit drops the back 30mm thought u had to adjust torsion bar to drop the back of the car?

Unless yuo are going alot of track days i personally dont think its worth it.

You will end up running a 'copy' standard set up on the road anyway.

Lowering the back seems a bit gay. I thought youd want to drop the front slightly and run standard rears.

I'd say you must be looking at a mk2 kit if it's saying -30mm drop on the back...as it's torsion bar as you say. I have coilovers on my williams and rate them highly...if you give your williams some stick on the track or your current suspension is feeling a bit tired I'd recommend them! Ps don't take notice of stromba his willy never sees more than 2500 rpm! :D

It won't handle better on rough b roads as the coilovers will be a harder ride but will be a lot better A or B roads with a half decent road surface..IMO of course
