car the ecu needed resetting might need a new one if it goes again! costly!

IMO, I don't think it's the ECU, so don't go out buying a new ECU just yet. He could have set something right when he was messing about in the engine bay. I have not heard of anyone here having to change ECU to fix a starting problem. Whatever it was, glad it worked for you. Now, get out and cane the car for being such a pain! Originally Posted by holl
