Daft Door Question

Will a door off a Williams 2 fit on a Williams 1, now I expect it to actually fit but am thinking about the plastic strips, is the indentation on the door the same?

Aside from it needing different clips to hold the bump strips on it will be fine...oh and it will be slightly heavier

Yes it will, just need to change the phase 2 strips for phase 1. Clips are different but in the same location. Best getting these from Renault TBH.

spot on, cheers, i got the door and yeh extra side protection means it weigh's a ton in comparison but just had a worry about the strip, but that a result, trim fit perfect aswell I assume?

Get a bonnet from Renault, there not as expensive as you'd think.

By the time you've bought a 2nd hand one and had it prepped for painting you may of well bought a new one and got that painted up.

About £150ish IIRC From Renault (doesn't include vent etc tho)

Really? phone call tomorrow then, it's the prep and everything thats the hassle I can do without and all these allegedly in perfect condition are far from it

Yeh i'm pretty certain, someone bought one before. Renault bought the price of them down last year with a load of other parts.

i have some of them door clips if you need them?? there are 11 on the door alone IIRC????
