yes it would, BUT i dragged agaisnt Malice's Turboed clio, with the same volvo engine in it, and by the end of 3rd he was only about 1.5 car lengths ahead, so not massivly faster, and i was one up....think i scared her tbh

Cant be arsed with engine transplants, another option could be to use the 440 engine parts and make a 1.8 turbo although not to sure whats envolved

Was having a discussion ages ago, from what i can remember can run a low comp turbo, by getting the turbo, inlet manifold etc, can drop teh compression ratio by stick a fat head gasket in there, can't run much pressure tho, and so isn't massivly faster

Rip the PAS out...extra horses there...exactly the same methods as doing so for a 16v...
