    electrical probs

    hi guys, iv put a new heater control panel on, iv tryed a new fan etc, and i have now found that there is no live to back of the switch. any idea's

    as Luner said check the fuse and swop it for one you know works not just one that looks ok. Also do a continuity (sp) check from the correct side of the fuse to the switch. If thats ok then the fuse isn't getting power so check for a broken wire at the back of the fuse box. If it isn't ok then that means the wire to the switch is broken somewhere i'd just cut the current wire at the back of the fuse and the switch and connect these with a fresh length of wire.

    broken wire but it was hard to find as it was making contact some times but not all the time, as well as a dodge fan [ the speed control bit] tyhanks for your help though
