    Strange ? Williams Not Starting

    Strange ? Williams Not Starting ??? I use the car daily and had no problems with it what so ever . I went out last night to start it and it wouldn't start ? Its turning over healthy and fine and theres plenty power in the battery but just not firing up ! WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM ??????

    crank angle sensor. does the rev needle jump slightly when you turn the ignition on?

    nah when i turn the ignition on the needle dont move ?

    new crank angle sensor will sort it.

    how do you know its that ? where from and price ? Easy to fit ?

    cos I know everything.

    easyish to fit, I have a couple spare here.

    new is around 30 quid, hae one o mine for a fiver if ye come get it.

    You got a multimeter?

    Had a similar problem 3 months ago. But was easy to diagnose as I could not hear the fuel pump start up when I switch the ignition to start position (before cranking position). Turned out to be a burnt out connector to the pump.

    Just make sure you can hear the fuel pump whir before you crank, to make sure it's not the pump problem (as what Martin said earlier).

    yeh worth a try !
    nah dont hav multimeter but could get one . what should i be checking with multimeter ?

    the resistance of the crank sensor bet its open circuit.
