    Busted 'screen, again

Got in her on Sat. morning to notice the screen has cracked. It was only replaced in May-ish.

Oddly the crack is exactly the same location and shape. Irekcon it must be my hole-y scuttle panel that's allowing too much flex.

Thing is, do I just get a new one bonded in again or should I just stop pissing about and get the scuttle welded up as well? Anyone know how much a new screen is from Renault as the pilkington one that the insurance company fitted wasn't quite right IMO. Had the odd ripple in the 'screen that I'm used to now but...

2nd hand screens are shit though. They're more often than not pock-marked. I think the plan is to just get the insurance company to do it for now.

If it happens again in 8months I'll have saved enough cash to get the welding done as well as get a few other things done maybe, like new 'box and heater matrix.
