Has anyone had a new clutch fitted recently? How much did it cost you? I have a clutch kit already so more interested in the labour charge and if you know whats involved

speak to Clean about clutches, he's got someone that does it REAL REAL cheap! You just provide the clutch, think it's £150 labour iirc.

Think i paid 170 for mine at my local garage, that included the clutch also, thats was on my 16v about 2 years ago though...lol

I was quoted £550 for a clutch change.. all in.
I was also quoted £650 for the same work from a Renault specialist.

£550!! K'in ell! The clutch I have cost £40 (thank you ebay lol) so just need it fitting. The garage who is doing the other work looked in the book and quoted 11 hours labour £365.
I'm not paying that. Way to expensive

11 hrs! Balls to that.
Have you tried those renault specialists near Renault Manchester? They did my cambelt for a very reasonable price. Think they're on a street called Bury Street.
