Still think you could sell the wheels, seats, manifold, brakes and exhaust for well over a grand.
The just buy spares from scrappies to replace those bits.
Then you only need 2k for the car which youd easily get and it would sell very quickly.
Id also consider putting all the good bits on the banana and sell it as a cheap track car.
