What are they, I am having a new cambelt fitted tomorrow, would the garage automatically change them?

i cant recommend getting them changed enough.. my mate had a cam belt change on his valver.. 100 miles down the road the tensioner packed in ruining his engine.
of course might have been a one off... but for the price of one it may well be worth doing.

It allows you to adjust the tension of the cambelt, I don't think a garage would automatically change it.
Worth changing the cambelt idler as well.
