    double yellow lines

got done today outside of doctors.

i was only 20 mins, but when i came out he was lurking next to my courtesy car (p reg clio oasis !!!!!!)

i thought he was a copper at first, because i saw a helmet, then i realised he was a traffic warden on a moped.

i took the ticket off the window, and let fly with some f's and c's. i then said "did you have a good xmas, or are you simply too fat for that moped mate".

I'd like to punch most traffic wardens in the face.

can't you get away with not paying it if the lines are broken or aren't finished off with a bar at the end? go back and check them its worth a try

I got done just before Christmas on City Road in Chester with a £30 fixed penalty. 1 hour max but need to park there for work. Normally they do a first sweep and we are able to move the cars before they come back, but didn't do it this day, just started slapping tickets on every car. They needed to get their xmas bonus somehow! I brought this up with her and got a snotty comment about not caring and I shouldn't be parking there anyway, which just pist me off even more!!

This is true, check the lines for breaks or if its unfinished at either end, they don't have a leg to stand on

May be a controversial reply, but here goes...

We all know what double yellows mean, and we all know that we have to pay for parking on roads/carparks etc....

so why do we kick off when we're caught? We know we've committed the offence...

Coming from the guy that had 5 tickets in 2005, still haven't learn't my lesson
