My mates just bought the Rover, its a bit chavved (has a Animal front bumper and Civic hoop spoiler, alloys etc etc).
Went to the Derby cruise last night and on the way back up the M1 a Civic and Impreza were racing, probably doing about 120mph. Anyway my mate dropped a gear, caught up with them more or less straight away and proceeded to absolutly cane the **** out of both of them. It was well funny the looks on the drivers faces as a chavved up Rover Saloon came flying past at 155mph was a picture.

Yeh the bloke who had it put the air filter next to the turbo it was probably 30bhp down on standard. All back to normal now, its not much faster than a Valver 0-60 but above that it absoltuly wipes the floor with me.

Yeh standard but my mates is up to around 220-230bhp now we've fitted a bleed valve.

it was fine when he raced my mate he never mentioned any problems just admitted tht it was fast and he beat him. the rovers only do 60 in 8.5secs! my mate can hit about 7 in his valver, timed with a gtech meter and it seems pretty acurate with the other cars timed! but he beat the rover and it never caught him!

60 is meant to be 6.2 for the Ti. He told me that the Clio beat him I thought it was Craig or somat cos I kept up with your mates Valver. Duno i'll have to have another race with him. Its faster than jonboys Volv and mine was about level with that.

his valver can stay at side of my hyrbrid its stupid! to say its basically standard aswell! think ive got low comp in one chamber tho...oil init!
the rover 2l turbo is 200bhp and 0-60 in 8.5secs, my mate was guna get 1
