    Dogbone mount mod

I remember reading that you can modify the dog bone mount by knocking out the rubber bit, but I can't remember exactly how to do it.

    Can somebody please tell me.

    Thanks

    Clockwise or anti-clockwise?

    Or doesn't it matter?

the std dog bone mount has the rubber connected to the pin in 2 places....at the top n bottom...the engine moves them from side to side...so if u turn the rubbers 90 degs u stop the movement in the rubber cos now the gap that was empty b4, now has rubber there to stop it moving

    kinda lol

    the 1.4's is solid rubber.

You can fill the 16V one with tiger seal which also stiffens it up nicely.

Are they the same shape as the 16v one or would you need to swap the rubber bits over?
I did have a solid one but the part number on it was the same as the standard one so couldn't trace it.
