Nor should there be really, valver still has a good power to weight and would imagine also make over 140bhp for the most. My Willy made 156ATF with a diesel gearbox and an open IK (power run had to be done in 3rd!!! lol). That was with about 60+k on the clock.

As for the car Craig rinsed it prolly was a VTS. It's hard to actually understand how fast that car is, but with Mehdi driving and me and Adi as passengers we had a do with a VTS with just the driver and the beast pulled away easily. Had Mehdi been on his own it would be like a Ferrari racing a Golf...
That boys and girls is the most common sense I've seen in many a day.. For me thats spot on

those VTS' are a very mixed bag, there are some you will smoke, then there are ones like Craggy's... which you wont see which way it went. Most wont be like his though.

iv yet to see a vts get into the 14s down the strip with just simple breathing mods..............let alone get near the 14.5s that craggys used to pull.

awesome car that........had a LOT of battles against it lol.....i even lost a couple

certainly a freak, although I've heard of one other that is just about getting mid 14's with some consistency. 90% of the time the valver 'should' just edge it for me though, providing it's a strong engined example...

i've nothing but respect for the VTS these days really, as it's a cheaper to buy and insure 106GTI. lot of car for not a lot of money, can't fault that really.
