    Me Vs Alpina B3

Had a blast with my Bros mates BMW Alpina B3 last night which was very interesting!! Basically it all took place on a road where u couldnt overtake and unfortunately i was at the back...we had a couple of blast from a rolling start in second and all i can say is he is a very dissapointed lad!! In second the gap seemed to stay the same but as soon as i hit third i was pushing him no probs, followed through third and into fourth and even then i was just pushing and backing off... I proved my point and had to back off though as he started to get all a bit silly!!

In his deffence i was on my own and him two up. But i say with a 3.2 he has a fair torque advantage! lol

Just when i was starting to doubt my cars power too! This blast has reasured me though after checking some of the B3's stats. Good job we didnt get into fifth though as i think he would have waved past at some silly speed! Still point made!

Thats a bold statement seeing as they have 300bhp and about 267 lb ft of torque! Your motor must be heavily modded! Sure he wasnt lurring you into thinking you were as fast!

    :D

Even so with 260bhp, your link shows that the car is capable of a sub 6 to 60 and will bring the ton up in under 14. Thats pretty darn quick.

All i can say is id like a ride in your chariot at some point!

It wasnt auto no. I spoke to the lad on Sat night and he said i my car was very quick. Not to sure whats happening tbh but certainly not makiing it up. Maybe his car isnt running right?! Like i said he was two up though but that wouldnt make to much diff..

Managed to pull from a Celica GT4 last night too which i was shocked by?!

as for it being capable of sub 6 0-60 - mine is too! ;)
