Williams number 400

I don't think he wants too much for it. People pay almost that much for mint examples with more miles, more owners, and without a number plate like that. Irrespective of whether it's the last one, it looks like a perfect example.

why has it done 20k .............. crashed,never driven,engine problems,if i was buying would be very carefull when i bought mine i had 3 of our top lads with me ....because of the low mileage

i have spoke to the bloke he was offerded 6k by a gent and said no ...
so god knows how much he wants for it

oh rite, thought there were 400 williams 1's??? i wasn't including the 2's and 3's when i said last.

There was actually 390 but 400 is the common figure people quote, this is the number of RHD Williams sold in the UK, trouble is, somewhere in amongst them they would have also made some LHD models for the continent (#0001 is LHD) and these could have been given a <400 plaque.

I have seen numbers here such as 3576....The UK seems to have a fixation with the lower numbers. don't get me wrong these cars are still highly specialised, but number 400 Big deal

Going on what some people on here have paid, I think £6000 is fair enough. If he wants more than that though, he could be waiting for some time
