Mk1 V6 Vs Skoda thing (diesel hatch)

Had my first little play with the Vee yesterday on the way to work... had a black skoda hatch back with VR or something in green on the front grille...

Was glued to my arse, so got onto dual carrage way, and floored it, end of 2nd, 4 car lengths, end of 3rd, 10 car lengths, and by the time i was doing *20 he was a good 20 car lengths behind...

cant get enough of this torque its awesome.

I know its hardly a 'shock' result, but good to have something come against me - any excuse to push it lol.

When i slowed down the guy drew level, and just started nodding and did the "cor" look with his lips lol....

    lol...

well if i had to be honest, the v6 is quicker than my hybrid... but its the torque which is more noticeable, its unreal...

no question, i will miss the hybrid, but i am enjoying the "luxury" of the v6, and how easy it is to drive.

I've raced a Skoda VRS and im sure it was chepped with the amount of black crap coming out, but ooooh my god this thing flew. The low down grunt was amazing. From a standing start i would probably have done him, but we were driving through traffic and flooring it when we could. I could barely stay with him.

Turbo Diesels are pretty awesome.....which is worrying

I've seen a guy with 200+BHP and getting on for nearly 400ft/lbs of torque on some fabia forum. Modded aint the word.
