    Water pump

Are the 16v and Williams water pumps the same?

    Cheers

    Cheers Rich.

I'll be using my 16v water pump on my Williams engine then as I know the history of it.

If I remember rightly, this is a bitch to fit. Some bolts are placed behind the bracket that the PAS pump is held onto. Therefore you have to disconnect this pump from the pipes too, and I believe take the pulley off because the bracket won't come off other wise.

Also the bracket provides a mount for the alternator so this will have to be taken off along with the belt..

Not a quick job...well it wasn't for me.

I know because I have just changed my PAS pump, water pump...anything that can be changed has been!!!
