do 172's have torsion bars i always thought they did as with most french cars.but my mate say he has springs at the back and he also phoned rtec to book it in to get lowered and they sadi it doesnt have torsion bar....???

No, they don't. I thought they did too, until I bought a set of 172 springs for my car and there were four of them
