got my gearbox done recently, not new but the change is tighter and it defo has more go! amazing how long you put up with a shagged GB, maybe cause it costs soo much

How much for a recon job, second hand gb or new one? rough estimate... how much did ures cost ill??

not worried about labour charges as i will do this myself... just wondering about the parts tbh.

my gear box was about 700 + vat so about 820.....that was 4 fittin as well though, the recon its self cost about 450....they ended up changin everythin even the casin!....450 was only 4 recon the inside the box but they supplied a case as well 4 no extra charge so its basicaly new!....

i got about 7 quotes and there all about the same give or take £10, i got a 12 months / 12000 mile warrenty with it as well
